Dprime Woo Product Importer Chrome Extension. Last updated 10 June 2026.

The Dprime Woo Product Importer Chrome extension is a tool for store owners. It captures the content of a product page you are viewing and sends it to your own WordPress website, where the Dprime Woo Product Importer plugin turns it into a WooCommerce product for your review.

What the extension collects

The extension only reads a web page when you click a capture button in its popup. When you do, it collects the following from the page you are viewing:

  • The page URL, title, headings, and visible text
  • The rendered HTML of the page
  • Meta tags, Open Graph tags, and JSON-LD structured data
  • Image URLs, prices, SKU, stock information, and variant options

The extension never reads pages in the background and never collects anything while you browse.

Where the data goes

Captured page data is sent directly to the WordPress website address you enter in the extension settings, together with the extension token you copied from your own plugin settings. The data goes only to that one website. It is your website, under your control, and the data is processed there by the Dprime Woo Product Importer plugin.

Dprime does not operate any server that receives, stores, or relays your captures. We never see your data.

What the extension stores

The extension stores your settings (your store endpoint URL, your extension token, and your import preferences) using Chrome's built-in extension storage. Collected variant captures are stored locally in your browser until you send or clear them. Nothing is stored anywhere else.

What the extension does not do

  • It does not collect personal information about you or about visitors of any website
  • It does not track your browsing history
  • It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind
  • It does not sell or share data with anyone

Permissions

The extension asks for the minimum it needs. It uses the active tab and scripting permissions to read the page you capture, the storage permission to save your settings, and an optional permission for your own store URL so it can deliver captures there. You grant that last permission yourself the first time you save your settings.
